Taekwondo Olympic Athlete

 

Tom Burns dreams of being a Ninja!

 The 21 year old Taekwondo jin, Tom Burns, who trained in South Korea,was born in Christchurch NZ. Burns fought against Hakan Recber of Turkey. Tom received multiple kicks in the face, ending with a final score of 23-8. Burns felt proud of  himself even though he didn't win, because he had an opportunity to compete in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

 On Tuesday, for Pangarau (Maths) we did a Who's that Star Wars character Maths grid. It had all the times table facts.

Space Duck Quiz

 This week for our reading activity I was learning to generate questions from what I read. My digital learning object shows a space quiz, I made this on google forms. I was reading about space this week, I read through the readings and watched the video I gathered my questions from the google slides.

I enjoyed making easy Questions, because it was interesting and I wanted to share the information with others.

I found it tricky to make the Question, I wanted to make them challenging for others.

Next time I would like to add more questions into my quiz, I could do this by doing it at home in my spare time.

Marae Carving

This is my drawing of a marae carving The first carving I tried was I did the whole marae. but then I decided to just draw one panel. the thing I like about my drawing is the patterns.

 On Thursday, the year 5s and 6s blasted over to the Takipu Marae Noho 

We were by the bus at school.

The travel was 30 minutes, when we got , we there, we had a Powhiri. 

After the Powhiri we went into the Marae and set up our beds. when our beds were

all done, we played TUG-OF-WAR.

 My name is Santino and I have 2 Sisters,and my Mum, and my Dad was born in Dunedin in New Zealand, but I am still Filipino. I go to St Mary's Catholic Primary School.

At my school I'm really good at math, writing and reading. Job playing Minecraft education Edition Prodigy epic and all reading sites that play with my friends in the sandpit. Go away this year to make my new friends and to them and be kind and help the environment with respect to myself and others. 

I'm looking forward to Year 6 Camp next year. I was so looking forward to making new friends and also playing with old friends. Achieve writing and reading maths. My friends always inspired me in being kind to each other.
